Safeguarding at Heritage

Nothing at Heritage is more important to us than the safety and welfare of our pupils.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of minors is everyone’s responsibility. At Heritage we take rigorous steps to ensure that children stay safe and do not come to any harm. To do this we work closely with students, parents and carers and a range of professional external agencies.  In addition, all professionals working at the school are regularly trained and updated to ensure our approach is person-centred, shared as appropriate and carefully recorded.

If you have any concerns, no matter how small they may seem, about the safety or welfare of yourself, a friend, colleague, child or young person from Heritage, please contact us at safeguarding@heritageschool.org.uk and one of our team will pick up your concern.

The school’s Safeguarding Team are:

Matt Fox (DSL), Bettina Scarlata (Deputy DSL),  and Caroline Young (Deputy DSL)

For more information please see our School Policies.
