Parent Information Evenings
A Meet the Teacher Evening is held in mid-September giving parents of Infants and Juniors an opportunity to meet their child’s class teacher, and for parents of Senior pupils to meet their child’s specialist teachers. Teachers explain their expectations, their curriculum plans, the weekly timetable, and how you can support from home.
There is usually an invitation from the HCA to stay for a drink and meet other parents and teachers.
In addition, three Information and Discussion Evenings are held through the year to focus attention the educational philosophy and methodology of Charlotte Mason and the PNEU, whose concepts have inspired the work of Heritage School, or upon general issues affecting young people today.
Recent topics have included pornography, emotional intelligence, neuroplasticity, habit formation and the use of narration.
