Parliamentary Candidates visit Heritage

Senior School pupils have been thinking carefully about the forthcoming General Election. They have enjoyed presentations and Q&A sessions with, both the Labour and Conservative Party MP candidates for Cambridge. On Wednesday 17 May, Dr John Hayward, the Conservative candidate (and husband to our very own Mrs Hayward) visited Heritage, and on Friday 19 May the current Labour MP for Cambridge, Mr Daniel Zeichner, shared his vision for the future with our pupils. Their personal stories about how they got involved in politics were inspirational. They answered the many questions from pupils very clearly, giving them plenty to think about – from underlying values to specific policy ideas.
